My Last Last Day of First Semester

A day all so common, it makes me quite sad
In lecture we laugh, and listen and pester
Each other, we don't care the lecture's quite bad
Cause it's our last Last Day of First Semester

So here it was and there it went and there won't ever be another one, ever again. The last day of first semester. And this was the last one ever. The last last day of first semester that I'm going to have. And I only had one class. But...that being said, it was perfect, the archetypal class, the kind that's a mixture of learning and fun, of friends and annoying questions...and it was a really nice way to round out the semester. And so, in honour of today, I'm going to list my top five reasons that you should go to class...all of which were reasons that kept me going through today's lecture.

5. You get to battle it out with your eyelids. Don't fall asleep. Your eyelids ALWAYS win.
4. You get to laugh at the person falling asleep beside you. People look funny when they're tryign to keep their eyes open
3. You get to whisper and joke with your friends in class while the lecturer tells you to "digest" the "crux" of the issue.
2. You get to learn something new.
1. You get to look around at the class and give pet names to people whose real names you don't know. Then you get to make fun of them and laugh at them.

Haha, pet names. It's almost a shame that you get to know some of these people's real names in the end...but that's an issue worthy of a whole other post.

Happy last last day of first semester OT6.
